Competition cancelled due to strong wind. Many spectators came to Friday's team presentation party.
All hoping to have some calm hours in the morning was in vain. Wind is way to strong here in Braunlage to start a competition. So also Saturday's competition had to be cancelled. There will be a new try tomorrow.
The cancellation of the competition is not only sad for the athletes but also for the fans. More than 1000 of them showed up on Friday evening at the team presentation in the town centre of Braunlage and made it a big party with a great atmosphere. It would have been nice to welcome them all at the jumping hill.
