Daniela Iraschko won Monday's competition in Zao ahead of Anette Sagen and Ulrike Grässler.

With her 11th win of the season, Austria's Daniela Iraschko has prematurely won that winter's overall Continental Cup. Jumps on 99.5 and 89.5 m were sufficient for her to take victory in Zao. Norway's Anette Sagen (95.5 and 87.5 m) took the second place ahead of Germany's Ulrike Grässler (92.0 and 89.5 m).

Ranks four to six were taken by Melanie Faisst (GER, 85.0 and 85.5 m), Carina Vogt (GER, 85.5 and 79.0 m) and Eva Logar (SLO, 85.5 and 79.0 m). Best athlete of the hosting nation Japan was Rieko Kanai, who took the seventh rank with jumps on 81.5 and 81.0 m.

In the overall Continental Cup Iraschko has now 1364 points and is more than 300 points ahead of second ranked Grässler (1047 points), while there are only three competitions to go. Third ranked Sagen has now 1010 points.
