Frantiąek Vaculík is the new head coach of the Czech team. Sakala is now coach for juniors.

At the Continental Cups in Bischofsgrün and Oberwiesenthal the team of the Czech Republic showed up with Frantiąek Vaculík as new head coach.

Vaculík was jumping himself until 2007 in the Czech B-team. After retiring from his active sports career he became coach and assisted Matjaľ Zupan and Vasja Bajc at their work for the Czech B-team. In the 2008/09 season he served as assistant coach to Richard Schallert in the A-team.

Since the beginning of this season he is responsible for the ladies national team. Next to this commitment he is also working as club coach in Harrachov.

Vaculík's predecessor Jaroslav Sakala is now coaching juniors and children in his hometown Frenątát pod Radhoątěm.

Vaculík is already the third coach of the Czech Team in two years, as Sakala took over the job from Pavel Mikeska in 2008.
