Ladies team event at the Junior World Championships in Otepää was cancelled due to bad weather conditions.

The première of a team competition for Ladies at the Junior World Championships has to wait one year more. The competition that was planned to be held on Saturday, was cancelled on short hand due to bad weather conditions. There was snowfall and severe gust of wind in Otepää.

Because of the bad weather forecast, the event was antedated from 5 pm local time to 1:30 pm at first and then postponed until the evening. At 6:45 pm, with still dangerous weather conditions, the competition management had to give up.

As there won't be a new attempt to realize this competition during these championships, the first Ladies Team event on this level will take place at the Junior World Championships 2012 in Erzurum, Turkey.
