Switzerland's Salome Fuchs underwent a further knee surgery last week.

The troubles Switzerland's Salome Fuchs is having with her knee keep going on. After tearing her left knee's ACL at a training jump on Einsiedeln's K70 last June, she underwent two surgeries and there was good hope that she could jump again in February. But unfortunately the healing process did not proceed as well as planned and so she was barely able to walk properly by that time.

As she made no big improvements since, she changed her physician and new examinations were made. Last week she underwent a further surgery, so the healing process starts all over again. Fuchs hopes now, that she will be able to restart jumping in February or March 2012.
