Switzerland's Bigna Windmüller will not participate in any competition of the upcoming season.

Switzerland's Bigna Windmüller decided to take a one-year break from ski jumping. She had a complicated last year and was fighting an infectious mononucleosis. "At the moment I do not feel able to restart training and to face the sporting challenges", she said on Swiss-Ski.ch. She wants to use this year to take up her studies.

Windmüller hopes to restart training with full motivation before the 2012/13 season and gain physical and mental strength in this break.
