Czech team with the new coach

Pavel Mikeska is no longer the coach of the Czech national ski jumpers team. The Czech Ski Association was unhappy about the recent results of the team and therefore decided to fire him.

The new coach of the Czech team will be Jaroslav Sakala, former world champion in ski flying and the stepfather of Vladka Pustkova.

Pavel Mikeska has been the forefather of the developement of the Czech ladies ski jumping in the recent years. It was he who found the sponsors for the team and got the money, nescessary for the training camps and equipment, often even from his own pocket...

I would like to thank Pavel for all the time and effort he put into getting the Czech women in ski jumping. I'm not so sure we would have the women from the Czech Republic represented at Women's ski jumping events if it had not been for Pavel's passion, dedication, and love for the sport. Thanks again Pavel for all your and hard work. We will miss you. Barbara Jerome

Tylko ciekawe czemu ta forma się pogorszyła tylko u Pustkowej a u Doleżelowej i Mikowej wzrosła?
No i Pan Mikeska deklaruje, że nadal będzie pomagał Miszy Doleżałowej bo mieszka ona daleko od skoczni i tylko on ma tyle wolnego czasu (jako emeryt), że może sie dostosować do jej obowiązków szkolnych i dojazdów z Ostrawy na treningi.
Mam nadzieję, że ta zmiana trenera wyjdzie Vladce na dobre, ale jeśli ona specjalnie źle skakała by tylko zmienili trenera, to zaczynam mieć o niej nienajlepsze zdanie...
