Daniela Iraschko won in Notodden ahead of Sarah Hendrickson and Jacqueline Seifriedsberger.

The third Continental Cup competition of this winter as held today on the K90 hill in Notodden. It was a very close race between Austria's Daniela Iraschko and America's Sarah Hendrickson. But in the end, Iraschko was victorious. In the first round both jumped 98.0 meters and were both on the first rank with equal points. In the second round Hendrickson (99.5 m) jumped a little further then Iraschko (98.0 m), but as the Austrian got higher style points by the judges, she had eventually 1.5 points more and so won. Third came Austria's Jacqueline Seifriedsberger with a pair of jumps on 93.0 and 94.5 meters.

Ranks four to six were all taken by members of the German team. Melanie Faisst, who jumped 94.5 and 92.5 meters, came fourth. She was still third after the first round. Ulrike Grässler (93.0 and 92.0 m) and Anna Häfele (90.0 and 91.5 m) followed on ranks five and six. Remarkably the seventh rank was shared by three athletes: Spela Rogelj (SLO, 88.5 and 92.0 m), Anette Sagen (NOR, twice 90.0 m), and Evelyn Insam (ITA, 90.5 and 91.5 m) all scored 224.0 points..

In the overall Continental Cup, Slovenias Katja Pozun, who came 10th today, is still in the lead with 186 points. Second is her team-mate Rogelj (166 p.). On third is Japan's Sara Takanashi (160 p.), who does not compete in Notodden.
